Hello we are Robert and Jacqueline Nichol and we live in Cumbria UK.

I was born in Glasgow and Jackie in Eynsham, Oxfordshire. We met in 1969 whilst I was working in Oxford. We were engaged on 8th August 1970 and married at St Leonards Church in Eynsham on 2nd October 1971. We have lived in Stonesfield, Oxfordshire: Exeter, Devon: West Hill, Devon: Singapore and Hong Kong before coming to this part of the world.

Jackie is an Accountant and, as we have moved around, has worked for various companies. I am a retired Insurance Manager having worked for the one company for forty years.

Jackie is one of seven children, the third eldest child of Dorothy N Harrison and the late Frederick C Harrison. I am one of three children, the eldest child of the late Ritchie and Lily Nichol.

I was educated at Dowanhill Primary School and Hyndland Senior Secondary School in Glasgow. Jackie was educated at Eynsham Primary School and Henry Box Grammar School in Witney, Oxfordshire.
